Handlebar is a family friendly licensed cafe offering great coffee, beer, wine, food, snacks and drinks.
We are a group of locals that have been mountain bike riding at Stromlo for years and saw an opportunity to improve the experience for all Stromlo visitors. Our dream is to create a home base for you when visiting Stromlo.
So, if you are looking for something a little different, there’s no need to look any further. Where else can you enjoy a cafe experience in Canberra with the opportunity to engage in such a broad range of activities? Alternatively, just relax and let the kids play while you soak in the views and catch up with friends.

Our coffee is a delicious seasonal blend called Kikan from our friends at Kyo Coffee. Kikan is perfect as a milk-based coffee, giving a creamy mouth feel with notes of honey, malt, caramel, forest jam and a smooth chocolate finish.
Our decaf coffee is Swiss water processed for more flavour.
